Daredevil is ready to get back out on the big screen again in the form of reboot under the reigns of David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy and erm, Twilight Eclipse). It hasn't been that long since they told us that Daredevil would continue, but that was supposed to be in the form of a sequel and not reboot. The original made a decent amount of cash and It was pretty much a done deal that it would happen. Although right now 20th Century Fox are putting it into production to stop the rights slipping back to Disney.
Slade is a good director and I thought that 30 Days of Night was one of the best horror films of the last fifteen, hell twenty years. Alright he sullied himself by doing Twilight for cash (he swore he wanted nothing to do with the films until they offered him a fortune) but that doesn't drain him of talent, just integrity.
None of the original cast return but I expect that in true modern form we will see a "darker" Daredevil. Let's hope Slade produces the goods.
