Steve Guttenberg has said to Variety that he is in talks to possibly return to the Police Academy franchise that made his a star in an eigth part. Guttenberg has showed an interest in directing and says that all of the original cast who are still around are up for it.
I used to love the Police Academy films as a kid and i still get a happy glow when i hear the theme music but the ever increasing crapness of the later sequels is worrying if they really want to do another. But i would love to see the team back together if they get a script that has the charm of the originals, albeit without the "accepted" racism of the first one.
Also Guttenberg says that a new addition to the Three Men and a Baby series with Three Men and a Bride is upcoming. Wonder what thats about.
