Keanu Reeves is to play the lead in 47 Ronin. A tale of 47 samurai warriors who become masterless when their Daiymo is forced into suicide after killing a corrupt court official.
The 47 warriors spend a year after their masters death planning their revenge on those who caused his death. Abandoning their old bushido code they then wage war on their masters enemies.
Dunno why a westerner is it in when there are plenty of brilliant Japanese actors out there.
