...an it's completely uninspiring. Yeah so he does look like you'd expect Godzilla to look like, very traditional, but therein lies the problem for me. The last Godzilla wasn't great but at least they tried something different.
Cloverfield was genius because they made it less about the monster and more about the people trying to escape the city. This Godzilla with his upright look and atomic breath? I think they might be just looking for an excuse to smash up a city. If he's just Godzilla doing his thing, then where's the interest?
