Not content with playing every hardman on earth right now the Stath has signed on to play the lead in The Killer Elite, a story about a group of proffesional assassins known as the The Clinic for their meticulous attention to every aspect of their assassination jobs hired to track down and kill four SAS operatives who were responsible for the death of the Shah of Irans son. On the other side is the clandestine organisation called The Feathermen, a group of intelligence gatherers dedicated to protecting the whereabouts and identities of Britains special forces troops and their 14 year mission to track down the killers of the SAS men.
Statham plays an ex navy seal who is drawn out of retirement by the feathermen to find and old friend before the clinic can perform their execution.
The book was written on accounts told to Sir Ranulph Fiennes and to date there are eight books so far as i know.
What do you think? Sounds good to me apart from Stath doing an American accent.
