A few weeks ago i caught Total Recall on late night television and was talking with some friends on how i would love to see it updated as the original script was very strong, the performances were ace, especially from arnie as anti hero/hero Doug Quaid.
The only thing i disliked about the original was the extremely flimsy production values in most of the film, and considering that the film was touted for its high budget back in the day it was surprising to see such shoddy and cardboard looking sets so often.
But still, done right this could be excellent.
