Since the Dark Knights rerelease on Imax it has just fallen short of the billion dollar mark. Now it has toppled it, becoming the fourth film in history to do so. TDK is now the 4th highest grossing film ever and the second highest domestic grossing film ever with its current total at $1,001,082,160.
