Based on a Steven King novel, Cell tells the tale of a strange electronic signal that, throuhg cell phones, begins affecting people, turning them murderous and violent, an epidemic of bloodthirsty brutality. Only a small group of people in New Englend remains unaffected and must survive in the world afterwards. The main protagonist, a man named Clayton must traverse across the state to Maine (surprise in a King book eh!) to find his young son and wife to save them. Along the way he finds that the murderous humans are changing into something far worse.A new/old take on the zombie theme. After hostel i only expect another excuse for gore in this next outing for Roth.
