As a massive fan of the Resident Evil games it was with utter dissapointment that i heard of a fourth film in the movie franchise being written with plans of a 2010 release date.
The third film left off with yet another open ended "cliffhanger" but has gradually devolved further
and further away from the original idea of the Resident Evil world (not that the original adhered to the games much) and is now the story of supersoldier Alice and her war against the Umbrella Corporation.
Paul WS Anderson said he would write the script but might not return. Milla Jovovich will most likely return as Alice.
