He may not be the most recognisable of faces, but chances are you know the voice. Probably the most famous voice-over actor in the business, and the man who you've heard narrate countless movie trailers, Don LaFontaine, has died at the age of 68.
LaFontaine had worked on over 5000 movie trailers and nearly 350,000 commercials in his long career and died on Monday of complications from Pneumothorax.
His will be a presence greatly missed and I get the feeling that movie trailers will be noticeably different from now on.
